Welcome to the 2018 Christmas Spooktacular! On the 127th episode of the 222 Paranormal Podcast we bring you scary ghost stories of Christmas and hear from friends of the show's Christmas time ghost encounters. For centuries, the telling of ghost stories around campfires and hearths were shared among friends, clans and families at Yule to give the living access to the dead. Original stories were darker, tied more to the winter, darkness, rebirth and the fundamentals of life. As the Victorian age came about the stories morphed to add life lessons and used to keep children from misbehaving. Today we share Christmas Ghost tales as our gift to you.

Listen in to our amazing show #127 and to all our listeners we want to wish everyone a very happy holiday season!

Nothing is more iconic or tragic than the story of the sinking of the RMS Titanic. Lost lives, lost loves, lost history, lost souls. Thinking about how tragic events leave remnants of people stuck in the place they took their last breath. On the Water, in their cabin, on the deck, at the helm. Where do these spirits remain? Can they ever rest in peace? Do they haunt the oceans and shores where they were found, or sadly lost at sea? Could they go on knowing their story was not in vain, they were remembered and mourned. Does future generations recalling their deaths help easy them into the afterlife or are the stuck, frozen in time where the ice met metal? Do they cling the the objects we go to visit and view at museums?

Listen as we bring you the episode 125, of the 222 Paranormal Podcast, The Ghosts of Titanic.

Across America there are some places that will always be known for being a safe haven. Churches, schools, lighthouses and fire stations. Places that the living congregate to seek shelter, get a meal, work, sleep, be with friends. So why wouldn't the dead hang around too? Fire Houses have a long history of activity, from former co-workers, tragically lost lives who remained behind, those lost in the line of duty, neighborhood dwellers curious to be around the living. Ask anyone who spends time in a firehouse and I am sure stories arise. Listen in to the episode 124 of the 222 Paranormal Podcast for some tales of the most haunted Fire Stations and house around America and talk to one man who runs such a place, the Michigan Firehouse Museum.
